    Walking

    From the center of Siena, head towards Piazza del Campo. Once you reach the Piazza, exit through the main entrance and walk straight until you reach Via di Città. Take a left onto Via di Città and continue straight until you reach the end. Then, turn right onto Via Banchi di Sopra and follow it until you reach Piazza San Francesco. From there, continue onto Via della Libertà which will lead you out of the city. Follow the signs for San Quirico d'Orcia, which is approximately 40-45 minutes away on foot. You will pass beautiful Tuscan landscapes along the way.

    From the main bus station in Siena (Piazza Gramsci), take the bus to San Quirico d'Orcia. Buses run at regular intervals, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as the last bus back to Siena may leave in the early evening. Once you arrive at the bus stop in San Quirico d'Orcia, Val d'Orcia is a short walk from there. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the SS2 area.
