Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main square in Sorrento, Piazza Tasso, head towards the train station, located at Via degli Aranci. Once you reach the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After a short 30-minute ride, get off at the Salerno station. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take the bus to Salerno that goes towards 'Località Croce' or 'Arechi Castle'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Arechi Castle, and from there, it's a short walk uphill to the castle entrance.

    From Sorrento, make your way to the train station (Via degli Aranci). Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. Disembark at Salerno train station after around 30 minutes. Upon exiting the train, head to the bus terminal right outside the station. Look for the Sita bus that travels to 'Località Croce' or 'Arechi Castle'. The bus journey will take about 15 minutes, and you should get off at the nearest stop to the castle. A brief walk uphill will lead you directly to Arechi Castle.
