Car
If you're driving, start by heading to the town of Dobbiaco (Toblach). From Bolzano, take the A22 motorway towards Bressanone (Brixen). Exit at Bressanone and follow the SS49 towards Dobbiaco for approximately 30 km. Once in Dobbiaco, follow signs for the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, taking the SP49 road. You'll reach the parking area at Rifugio Auronzo, which is the main access point to Parco Naturale Tre Cime. Note that there is a parking fee of around €30 per car during high season, and the access road may be closed to regular vehicles during peak times, requiring you to take a shuttle bus from Dobbiaco.

Public Transportation
To reach Parco Naturale Tre Cime using public transportation, take a train from Bolzano to Dobbiaco. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Dobbiaco, transfer to a bus that heads to the Tre Cime area. The bus service is seasonal, so check the schedule in advance. The bus will take you to the parking area at Rifugio Auronzo. Be aware that there is a small fee for the bus, typically around €10-€15 for a round trip.
