Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Bolzano, which is accessible via the A22 motorway. Take the Bolzano South exit and follow the signs for 'Centro'. As you approach the city center, continue on Via the Druso until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Via della Stazione. Follow this road until you see signs for 'Piazza Walther'. Note that parking in the city can be limited, so look for designated parking garages such as 'Parkhaus Walther' which is close to the square.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Bolzano’s central train station (Stazione di Bolzano). From the station, exit and look for the bus terminal. Take bus line 1, 5, or 8, which will bring you to the city center. Get off at the 'Piazza Walther' stop. Alternatively, from the train station, you can walk to Waltherplatz, which takes about 15 minutes. Simply exit the station, head straight down Via della Stazione, and follow the signs towards the city center.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service from anywhere in South Tyrol to Waltherplatz. Taxis are readily available at major train stations and hotels. The fare from nearby towns will vary, so confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

• Walking

  Once you arrive in the city center of Bolzano, Waltherplatz is easily accessible on foot. It is a pedestrian-friendly area with clear signage. If you are at the Bolzano train station, walk along Via della Stazione, continue straight through the main streets, and follow directional signs to Waltherplatz. The walk is approximately 15 minutes and allows you to enjoy the local atmosphere.
