Starting from the main square of Taormina, Piazza IX Aprile, head towards the Corso Umberto I, which is the main pedestrian street. Walk down Corso Umberto I for about 10 minutes, enjoying the shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Via Teatro Greco. Turn left onto Via Teatro Greco and follow it straight for about 5 minutes. You will eventually arrive at the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta, which will be on your right.
