Walking
From the main square of Taormina, Piazza IX Aprile, head east on Corso Umberto I. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the end of the street. You will see the entrance to the Greek Theatre on your right. At this point, take a left onto Via Teatro Greco. Follow this road for about 1 km. You will pass the beautiful views of the coastline and the ancient ruins. Continue until you reach the junction with Via Nazionale. Turn left onto Via Nazionale and walk for another 500 meters. After that, look for signs directing you to the bus station.

From Taormina, you can take a direct bus from the local bus station. Catch the Interbus line towards Randazzo. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Randazzo bus station, exit the bus and walk straight onto Via Vittorio Emanuele. Continue until you reach Piazza della Basilica, where the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta is located.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Taormina. Taxis are available at various points in Taormina, especially near the main square, Piazza IX Aprile.
