Walking
If you are starting from the Taormina Cable Car Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Corso Umberto I. Walk straight along this bustling street, filled with shops and cafes. Continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Piazza IX Aprile, a charming square with stunning views over the coastline. From here, continue straight down Corso Umberto I, and after another short walk, you will see Piazza Duomo on your right. The square is easily recognizable by the beautiful fountain in the center and the historic buildings surrounding it.
Walking
If you are at the Greek Theatre, exit the site and head back along the path you came, toward Via del Teatro Greco. At the end of the road, turn left onto Corso Umberto I. Keep walking along this vibrant street, passing shops and restaurants on both sides. After walking for about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Piazza Duomo, where you can enjoy the atmosphere and admire the impressive architecture.

From Taormina's main bus station (Stazione dei Pullman), exit towards Via Luigi Pirandello and head northeast. Turn right onto Corso Umberto I. Continue straight for about 20 minutes, taking in the sights and sounds of Taormina. Piazza Duomo will be on your left just before you reach the intersection with Via Dottor Consoli. Look for the iconic fountain and the surrounding historical buildings as you approach the square.

If you are at the Villa Comunale Gardens, exit the gardens and make your way to the nearest road, Via Bagnoli Croce. Head down towards Corso Umberto I. Once you reach Corso Umberto I, turn left and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will soon arrive at Piazza Duomo on your right, marked by its beautiful fountain and the various shops and cafes nearby.
