From Corso Umberto I, the main street in Taormina, head towards the eastern end where you'll find a staircase leading up to the left. Follow the signs for 'Piazza IX Aprile.' After climbing the stairs, you will arrive at the beautiful Piazza IX Aprile. The square is surrounded by charming cafes and offers stunning views of the coastline.

If you are near the Taormina-Giardini train station, take the bus heading to Taormina. The bus will drop you off at the main bus terminal (Piazza della Repubblica). From there, walk towards Corso Umberto I and follow it until you reach the staircase leading to Piazza IX Aprile. It should take about 10-15 minutes to walk from the bus terminal.

If you are at the Teatro Antico di Taormina, exit the theater and head down the path towards Via del Teatro Greco. Turn right onto Corso Umberto I and stroll down this pedestrian street. After about a 10-minute walk, you will find the entrance to Piazza IX Aprile on your left, just before you reach the end of Corso Umberto I.
