    Start at Trieste Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Duino-Aurisina. Trains to Duino-Aurisina run approximately every hour. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Duino-Aurisina station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Trieste).

  • Bus

    From Trieste, take the bus number 51 from the 'Trieste, Piazza Oberdan' bus stop towards 'Duino'. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Duino' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight and follow the signs leading to Duino Castle, which is located about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Duino area, you can walk to Duino Castle. From the Duino bus stop or train station, head southwest on Via Trieste, then turn left onto Via Castello. Continue walking until you reach Duino Castle, which will be on your right. The scenic route along the coast offers beautiful views.
