Car
From Gorizia, head southeast on Via Garibaldi toward Via San Francesco. Continue onto Via della Libertà and follow signs for the SS55 toward Nova Gorica. Once you reach the border, continue on SS14. Follow SS14 for about 10 km until you reach San Giovanni di Duino, Italy. The entrance to Mouths of the Timavo / Izvir Timave is located on your right. Parking is available nearby.

From Gorizia, take the bus from the main bus station (Autostazione Gorizia) to Trieste. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Trieste, transfer to the bus line 51 (direction San Giovanni di Duino) at the Trieste bus terminal. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
