Getting There

Bus

From Trieste city center, walk to the Trieste Bus Station (Stazione degli Autobus). Look for buses heading to Portorož. You can take the bus number 28 that goes directly to Portorož. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Portorož, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the coast and follow the signs for Strunjan. You will need to walk approximately 2.5 kilometers to reach Mesečev Zaliv at Strunjan 117.
Taxi

You can take a taxi directly from Trieste to Mesečev Zaliv in Portorož. Head to a taxi stand or call a taxi service. The ride will take about 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Strunjan 117 in Portorož.
Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to hike, you can take a bus to the nearby town of Strunjan and then walk to Mesečev Zaliv.
