Car
From the center of Aosta, drive towards Via Monte Solarolo. Head southeast on Corso Porta Pretoria toward Via Sant'Anselmo. Continue straight onto Via Monte Solarolo. The Roman Walls are located at Via Monte Solarolo, 1, 11100 Aosta AO. Parking may be limited, so look for designated parking areas nearby.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Aosta's main bus station. Look for the bus route that goes towards 'Aosta Centro' or 'Piazza Chanoux.' Get off at the stop closest to Via Monte Solarolo. From there, it’s a short walk to the Roman Walls. Check the local bus schedule for timings and any potential costs associated with the fare, which is usually around €1.50 per ride.
Walking
If you're already in the Aosta city center, you can simply walk to the Roman Walls. Head southeast on Corso Porta Pretoria, then turn onto Via Monte Solarolo. It should take you approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. This is a great option to enjoy the local architecture and atmosphere.
