If you're driving in Val Venosta, head towards Burgusio. From the main road (SS38), take the exit for Burgusio and follow the signs for Burgusio town center. As you enter Burgusio, look for signs pointing to Fürstenburg. The castle is located at Burgusio, 7, 39024 Burgusio BZ. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Fürstenburg via public transport, take a train to Malles Venosta, which is the nearest train station. From Malles Venosta, board Bus Line 271 towards Burgusio. The bus will take you directly to Burgusio. After disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Fürstenburg located at Burgusio, 7, 39024 Burgusio BZ. Please check the local bus schedule for timings, and be aware that a ticket for the bus may cost around €3.50.
Walking
If you are already in Burgusio and wish to walk to Fürstenburg, start from the town center. Head north on Via Stazione, then turn left onto Via Fürstenburg. Continue straight for about 800 meters, and you will reach the castle. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
