Getting There

    If you're traveling by car, you can reach the Visitor Center naturatrafoi located at Trafoi 13A, 39029 Stelvio BZ. From any point in Val Venosta, navigate to the SS38 road and head towards Stilfs. Once you reach Stilfs, follow the signs for Trafoi. The Visitor Center is approximately 12 kilometers from Stilfs and is well-marked. Note that there may be a parking fee; ensure to have some coins ready just in case.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Visitor Center via public transport, you can take a train to the nearest station in Laces (Laces is connected to regional train services). From Laces, you can catch a bus towards Trafoi. The bus operates regularly, but it's advisable to check the current timetable beforehand. The bus will drop you off near the Visitor Center. Make sure to have some cash for the bus fare.

  • Walking from Trafoi

    If you are already in the village of Trafoi, the Visitor Center is a short walk from the main bus stop. Simply head southwest on the main road (Strada Statale 38) for about 1 kilometer until you reach Trafoi 13A. The walk should take around 15 minutes and provides lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
