If you are driving from the center of Mals, head southeast on Via della Stazione toward Via dei Giardini. Continue onto Via delle Capelle, then turn right onto the SS40. Follow this road for approximately 12 km. Look for signs leading to Watles, and turn left onto SP36. Continue on SP36 until you reach the parking area at the foot of Watles. The drive takes about 30 minutes from Mals.
