    If you are driving, head towards Melago. From the town of Silandro (the main town in Val Venosta), take the SS38 road heading north. Continue on SS38 until you reach the junction for the SP35 towards Melago. Follow SP35 for approximately 15 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. The road will narrow as you approach Melago. Once you arrive in Melago, look for parking areas available near Melager Alm.

    For those relying on public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in Val Venosta to the nearest train station, which is Silandro. From Silandro, you will need to catch a bus to Melago. Check the local bus schedules, as they might vary depending on the time of year. The bus ride takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Melago bus stop, it’s a short walk to Melager Alm. Be sure to check the return schedule for buses back to Silandro.
