If you're driving from any location in Valtellina, take the SS38 road towards Sondrio. Follow the signs for the A4 motorway towards Milan. Merge onto the A4 and continue until you reach the exit for Bergamo (approximately 1 hour from Sondrio). Once you exit, follow the signs for Bergamo and then look for signs leading to the city center. Use Via Porta Dipinta to reach Palazzo e Giardini Moroni, located at Via Porta Dipinta, 12, 24129 Bergamo. Parking options are available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking in the city center.
Public Transportation
To reach Palazzo e Giardini Moroni via public transport, start by taking a train from any station in Valtellina (like Sondrio) to Bergamo. Trains are frequent and the journey usually takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Bergamo train station, you can take bus number 1 or 8 to the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Matteotti'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Palazzo e Giardini Moroni. Head northwest on Via Borfuro, then turn left onto Via Porta Dipinta, and you will reach your destination.
