If you're driving, head towards Venice via the A4 highway. Once you reach the Venice Mestre exit, follow the signs for 'Venezia Centro' to enter the city. From Piazzale Roma, walk towards the Grand Canal and take the Vaporetto (water bus) Line 1 or 2 towards San Marco. Disembark at the San Marco stop, and walk approximately 5 minutes to reach Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti, located on S. Marco, 2847.
