Walking
If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head towards the Campanile (bell tower) and walk past it. Continue along the straight path towards the waterfront, which will lead you to the Riva degli Schiavoni. From there, turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will reach the Fondamenta Nuove. Continue walking along the canal until you see the signs for Fondamenta Duodo o Barbarigo. If you are nearest to a Vaporetto stop, take Line 1 towards 'Ferrovia' or 'Lido'. Get off at the 'San Toma' stop. From there, head towards the Calle de la Madoneta, walk straight until you reach the Grand Canal, and take a left. Follow the canal until you reach the intersection with Rio di San Barnaba.
