Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head toward Venice by following the A4 motorway. Once you arrive in Venice, you will need to park at a designated parking area, as cars are not allowed in the historical center. The closest parking facility is the Tronchetto Parking, where you can park your vehicle for a fee (approximately €21 per day). From Tronchetto, take the People Mover (a monorail system) to Piazzale Roma. The ticket for the People Mover costs about €1.50. After arriving at Piazzale Roma, you can walk to Ponte de le Maravegie, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Follow signs towards the Grand Canal and then cross the canal via the Ponte di Calatrava, continuing until you reach your destination.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation from other parts of the Venetian Riviera, take a train to Venezia Santa Lucia station. Trains frequently run from cities along the coast, and tickets cost around €5-€15 depending on your starting point. Upon arriving at Venezia Santa Lucia, exit the train station and walk towards the Grand Canal. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a Vaporetto (water bus) to the nearest stop to Ponte de le Maravegie. The Vaporetto fare is around €7.50 for a single ride. If you choose to walk, head towards the Ponte di Calatrava, cross over, and continue straight to reach Ponte de le Maravegie.

• Vaporetto

  If you are in the surrounding islands or other parts of Venice, the Vaporetto is an excellent way to get around. Depending on your location, you can board a Vaporetto line that travels along the Grand Canal. Use the ACTV website or app to find the best route to stop 'Ponte de le Maravegie.' A single ticket costs about €7.50, and you can purchase it at the Vaporetto stops or through the ACTV mobile app. After disembarking at the nearest stop, follow the signs to reach Ponte de le Maravegie, which is a short walk away.
