Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the main cities in Veneto, take the A4 motorway towards Verona. Upon reaching Verona, take the exit for 'Verona Sud' and follow signs for the city center. Once in the city, look for signs directing you to 'Piazza S.Anastasia', where the Basilica is located. There are several parking options in the vicinity, including street parking and parking garages. Be prepared to pay for parking, which can cost around €1-2 per hour.

• Train

  If traveling by train, take a train to Verona Porta Nuova station. From the station, exit and head to the bus terminal located just outside. You can take bus line 11 towards 'Borgo Roma' and get off at 'Piazza Bra'. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Basilica di Santa Anastasia. Follow Via Roma to Piazza Bra, then take Via Mazzini to reach the Basilica. Alternatively, you can grab a taxi from the train station, which costs around €10-15.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  For those already in Verona, you can take local buses to reach Piazza S.Anastasia. Bus lines 11, 12, and 13 stop nearby. Check the local bus schedule for exact timings. The fare for a single bus ride within Verona is approximately €1.50. Once you arrive at any nearby stop, simply follow signs or ask locals for directions to the Basilica.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the central area of Verona, the Basilica di Santa Anastasia is within walking distance of many popular attractions. From the Verona Arena, it’s about a 15-minute walk. Head north on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via Mazzini, and continue until you reach the Piazza S.Anastasia. The walk is pleasant and allows you to enjoy the beautiful architecture of Verona.
