Getting There

• Vaporetto (Water Bus)

  To reach the Convento del Santissimo Redentore, start by making your way to the nearest Vaporetto stop. If you are in the central area of Venice, head to the 'San Marco' Vaporetto stop. From there, take the Vaporetto Line 2 towards 'Lido' or 'Giudecca'. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the 'Redentore' stop. Once you exit the Vaporetto, walk straight ahead to reach the convent located at Sestiere Giudecca, 194. The entire journey should take around 30 minutes, depending on your starting point.

• Walking

  If you prefer to explore Venice on foot, you can walk to the Convento del Santissimo Redentore from the central areas. Start at 'Piazza San Marco' and head towards the 'Zattere' waterfront area. This will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the 'Punta della Dogana'. From there, you can catch the Vaporetto Line 2 at the 'Salute' stop to the 'Redentore' stop or continue walking along the shoreline towards Giudecca. Once you arrive at Giudecca, follow the signs to Sestiere Giudecca, 194, where the convent is located.

• Bicycle or E-bike Rental

  For a more leisurely and unique experience, consider renting a bicycle or e-bike. You can find rental shops in various locations around Venice. Once you have your bike, head towards the Giudecca Canal. Follow the paths along the canal until you reach the 'Redentore' area. Look for signs directing you to Sestiere Giudecca, 194. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed.
