Walking
If you are starting from the famous Piazza San Marco, head east towards the waterfront and follow the Riva degli Schiavoni until you reach the Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and continue straight along the Calle del Remedio. Keep going straight until you reach the Campo Santa Maria Formosa. From there, take the Calle della Madonna which will lead you to the Calle del Caffè. Follow it until you reach a small square called Campo dei Miracoli, where you can take a moment to enjoy the local atmosphere.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
To reach Rio Terranova from the nearest Vaporetto stop, take Line 1 or Line 2 from your current location towards the direction of the Rialto Market. Get off at the Rialto stop. From there, head east towards the bridge and cross the Ponte di Rialto. Once you cross the bridge, take the first left onto Calle dei Stagneri. Continue straight until you reach Campo San Bartolomeo, then take a right onto Calle della Bissa. This will lead you directly to Rio Terranova.

Walking from Rialto Market
Starting from the bustling Rialto Market, head south towards the Grand Canal. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte di Rialto. Cross the bridge and turn left. Follow the path along the Calle dei Stagneri until you come to Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, turn right onto Calle della Bissa. Continue straight ahead, and you will soon find yourself at Rio Terranova.
