If you're already in the Castello neighborhood, start by heading towards the waterfront at the end of Via Garibaldi. Walk straight along the waterfront promenade, enjoying views of the lagoon. Continue until you reach the famous Riva degli Schiavoni. From here, turn left and head towards the iconic St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. When you reach St. Mark's Square, you will see the majestic Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) right at the square's edge.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
If you prefer a scenic route, you can take a Vaporetto from various locations in Castello. Board the Vaporetto at the nearest stop, such as Giardini or Arsenale, and take Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Disembark at the San Marco stop, which is just a short walk from Doge's Palace. When you exit the Vaporetto, follow the signs to St. Mark's Square where you will find the palace. Note that a single Vaporetto ticket costs approximately €7.50.
