Water Bus (Vaporetto)
If you're in Venice and want to reach Piazza dei Signori in Padua, start by taking a Vaporetto (water bus) to the nearest stop that connects to the railway station, such as 'Ferrovia'. Once you arrive at Ferrovia, exit the Vaporetto and make your way to the Santa Lucia Train Station. From the station, purchase a ticket for a train to Padua. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Padua's train station, follow the signs to the exit. Upon exiting, walk straight down Viale della Stazione, then turn left onto Via del Santo. Follow this street until you reach Piazza dei Signori, which is a short walk from there.

To visit Piazza dei Signori from Venice, make your way to Santa Lucia Train Station. You can do this by taking a Vaporetto to 'Ferrovia' or walking if you're near the station. Once at the station, buy a ticket for Padua (Padova). The trains run frequently and the journey lasts about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Padua station, exit the station and head towards Via del Santo. Continue straight until you reach Piazza dei Signori, which will be on your right.
Walking and Local Transportation
From central Venice, walk to the nearest Vaporetto stop, such as 'Rialto'. Take the Vaporetto to 'Ferrovia', then head to Santa Lucia Train Station. After securing your train ticket to Padua, board your train and enjoy the scenic ride. Upon arriving in Padua, exit the station and find Via del Santo. Walk in the direction of Piazza dei Signori by following the street signs. It’s a short walk, about 15 minutes.
