Walking
From San Polo, make your way to the nearest Vaporetto (water bus) stop, which is likely San Tomà. Head towards the canal and take the Vaporetto Line 1 in the direction of 'Lido.' Stay on the Vaporetto for about 5 stops, approximately 12 minutes. Disembark at the 'San Marco' stop. Once you exit the Vaporetto, follow the signs towards Piazza San Marco. Walk straight until you reach the square. Saint Mark's Basilica is located at P.za San Marco, 328, and is easily recognizable with its stunning architecture.

If you prefer to walk directly from San Polo to Saint Mark's Basilica, start at Campo San Polo. Head northeast towards the Calle del Pistor, then continue onto Calle della Madonna. Follow this street until you reach the Campo San Luca. From there, take the Calle dei Fabbri until you arrive at the Rialto Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight along the Riva del Ferro. This will lead you to the Piazza San Marco. The entire walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
