Getting There

• Walking

  From the central Piazza Bra, head towards the Arena di Verona. Once you reach the Arena, walk along Via Giuseppe Mazzini, a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, where you can admire the beautiful market and historic buildings. From Piazza delle Erbe, take Via dei Mazzanti to Via Cappello, leading you to Juliet's House (Casa di Giulietta) for a quick photo opportunity. After that, walk towards Corso Porta Borsari and exit the old town through the gate. Continue straight on Via Porta Borsari until you reach the intersection with Viale delle Nazioni Unite. Turn left onto Viale delle Nazioni Unite and follow it until it merges with Viale del Lavoro. Continue straight and look for signs leading to the bus stop for line 26 towards Sirmione. Take the bus and get off at the Sirmione stop. From there, walk towards Via S. Pietro in Mavino, following the signs to Chiesa di San Pietro in Mavino, which is located on a hill with stunning views.

  From Verona Porta Nuova train station, take bus line 26 towards Sirmione. The bus runs frequently, so check the schedule at the station. Travel for about 30 minutes until you reach the Sirmione stop. Once you arrive in Sirmione, exit the bus and head towards Via S. Pietro in Mavino. You may need to ask locals for directions to the church, as it's a bit uphill. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes from the bus stop.
