Train
From Verona, head to Verona Porta Nuova train station, which is easily accessible via local buses or a short walk from the city center. Purchase a ticket to Desenzano del Garda/Sirmione, which is the nearest train station to Sirmione. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Desenzano del Garda, exit the station and look for the bus stop outside. Take bus line 26 towards Sirmione. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes, and you will get off at the final stop in Sirmione. From there, walk towards Lago di Garda, following the signs to Jamaica Beach. It’s a short 10-minute walk.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus directly, you can catch a bus from Verona to Sirmione. Head to the Verona bus station, which is located at Piazzale 25 Aprile, a short distance from the city center. Purchase a ticket to Sirmione. The bus ride will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Sirmione, follow the signs to the lake. Jamaica Beach is located along the lakeshore and is within a 15-minute walking distance from the main bus stop.
Bicycle
For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle. You can find rental shops in Verona. Once you have your bike, follow the cycle path from Verona towards Sirmione. The distance is approximately 35 kilometers and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach. As you approach Sirmione, you will see signs for Jamaica Beach. Park your bike at a designated area and walk towards the lake, where you will find the beach.
