Train
From Verona, head to Verona Porta Nuova train station. You can take a local bus (Line 11 or 21) or walk if you’re close by. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Sirmione. The train to Desenzano del Garda is frequent and takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Desenzano del Garda, transfer to bus Line 26 towards Sirmione. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Sirmione bus terminal, and from there, it's a short walk to the town center.
Bus
From Verona, go to the Verona bus station (Stazione Autobus). Take the direct bus service to Sirmione, which operates regularly throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Sirmione, you can explore the town as it is pedestrian-friendly, and all attractions are within walking distance.
Bike
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Verona. Start from the city center and head south towards the countryside. Follow the Via Claudia Augusta bike path which leads directly to Sirmione. The ride is scenic and will take you around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your speed. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Garda along the way!
