Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Piazza Bra, head east toward Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight onto Via Roma and pass the Arena di Verona. Stay on Via Roma for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour and walk straight until you arrive at the intersection with Vicolo Pozzo. Turn left onto Vicolo Pozzo, and you will find Museo africano at number 1 on your right.

    From Verona Porta Nuova train station, take bus line 11 or 12 towards 'Giulietta'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Bra'. From there, walk east toward Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, then follow the same directions as above from Piazza Bra to Museo africano.

    If you are near the Castelvecchio Museum, exit the museum and head southeast on Corso Castelvecchio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and walk until you reach the intersection with Vicolo Pozzo. Turn left onto Vicolo Pozzo, and Museo africano will be on your right.
