If you are starting from the Arena di Verona, head east on Via Giuseppe Mazzini until you reach Piazza Bra. From here, continue straight onto Via Cattaneo, which will lead you to Corso Porta Nuova. Cross the road and head towards the River Adige. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the riverside. You will pass under the Ponte Pietra bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue along the river until you see a stairway leading up to Piazzale Castel San Pietro. Follow the stairway up, and you will arrive at Piazzale Castel San Pietro, where you can enjoy a stunning view of Verona.

From the Verona Porta Nuova train station, take bus line 11 towards 'San Martino' and get off at the stop 'Piazza Isolo'. Once you exit the bus, head towards the river and walk along the path that follows the River Adige until you reach the Ponte Pietra bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Piazzale Castel San Pietro. There is a stairway that will lead you up to the piazzale with beautiful views of the city.
