Car
If you are driving from Forte dei Marmi, head northeast on Via Giulio Cesare toward Via Mazzini. Continue on the SS1 (Via Aurelia) for about 3 km. Take the exit toward Via del Mare, then follow signs for Via della Repubblica. After approximately 1.5 km, turn right onto Via di Pedona. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach Pedona. There are limited parking options in the village, so be prepared to walk a short distance to explore.
Public Transportation - Bus
From the central bus station in Viareggio, take the LAM Blue bus toward Forte dei Marmi. Get off at the stop 'Pietrasanta - Stazione'. From there, transfer to the local bus line 1, which will take you to the stop 'Pedona'. The entire journey takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on the waiting times for transfers. A one-way ticket will cost approximately €2. You can purchase tickets at the bus station or from ticket machines.
Public Transportation - Train and Bus
If you prefer to travel by train, take a train from Viareggio to Pietrasanta. The train journey takes about 10 minutes. Once at Pietrasanta station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the local buses. Take the bus line 1 toward Pedona. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Remember to buy your bus ticket (costing approximately €2) before boarding. You can find ticket machines near the bus stop.
