From Black River, taxis are readily available. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey to Parrotee Pond. The ride is approximately 8 km and should take around 15-20 minutes. Expect to pay around JMD 2,800 - JMD 4,000. Ensure the taxi has a red license plate, indicating it's an official Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV).

From the main bus terminal in Pedro Plains, take a local bus heading towards Treasure Beach. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Parrotee Pond. From there, walk along the unpaved road for about 10-15 minutes to reach the pond. The bus fare is approximately JMD 200.
