Driving
From Santa Cruz, drive towards Lacovia, keeping an eye out for a Texaco gas station on the right. Turn right at the gas station, where you should also see a sign directing to Appleton Rum Tour and Accompong village. Keep left and follow the road until you see the sign for the Maggotty JPS Hydroelectric station on the right. Turn right towards the station, then take the dirt track. Continue through the chain-link fence and gate to the open clearing where you can park. There are no parking fees.
Taxi
From Santa Cruz, hire a taxi to Breadnut Valley Falls in Maggotty. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as it is not a standard taxi route. Expect to pay around JMD 1,500 - JMD 2,500 for a one-way trip, depending on your negotiation skills and the number of passengers. The driver should know the way to the Maggotty JPS Hydroelectric station. From there, follow the dirt track to the Breadnut Valley Estate.
