Car
If you are driving from central Aki, start by heading west on Route 7. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you see signs for the Akita Expressway. Merge onto the Akita Expressway heading north. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit for 'Tsuchizaki'. Continue on Route 13 for about 5 kilometers, and then follow the signs for Roadside Station Akitakō located at 1 Chome-9-1 Tsuchizakiminatonishi. The entire drive should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, start at Aki Station. Take the local bus towards Tsuchizaki Station, which runs approximately every hour. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tsuchizaki Station, transfer to a local bus that heads to Roadside Station Akitakō. This bus runs every hour as well and will take another 15 minutes to reach your destination. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance to minimize wait times.
