    Public Transport

    From Akita Station, take a local bus towards Tsuchizaki. Get off at Tsuchizaki, then transfer to another local bus heading to Roadside Station Akitakō. Buses run approximately every hour, and the total journey takes about 45 minutes. A one-way bus ticket costs around ¥500. Alternatively, from Akita Station take the Akita City bus to Port Tower Selion; a single ticket is ¥420 for adults.

    Taxis are readily available from Akita Station. The journey to Roadside Station Akitakō takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately ¥2,000, depending on traffic. Note that prices may vary based on traffic conditions.

    Driving

    From central Akita, head west on Route 7. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you see signs for the Akita Expressway. Merge onto the Akita Expressway heading north and take the exit for 'Tsuchizaki'. Continue on Route 13 for about 5 kilometers, and then follow the signs for Roadside Station Akitakō. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be tolls on the Akita Expressway.
