Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Aomori City, take Route 4 (also known as the Aomori Bypass) heading towards the Hakkōda Mountains. Continue on Route 4 for approximately 30 minutes. Look for signs for the Hakkōda Ropeway, which will direct you to Route 394. Turn onto Route 394 and follow the signs for the Hakkōda Ropeway Sanroku Station. The address is Kansuizawa-1-12 Arakawa, Aomori, 030-0111. There is a parking area available at the station, but please note that parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Aomori Station, take the local bus service towards Hakkōda Ropeway. The bus departs from the bus terminal located near the station’s west exit. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary. When you arrive at the Hakkōda Ropeway stop, it is a short walk to the Sanroku Station. The bus fare is approximately 1,000 yen one way.

• Taxi

  You can also take a taxi from Aomori Station directly to Hakkōda Ropeway Sanroku Station. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. This is a more convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have luggage. The estimated fare will be approximately 5,000 to 7,000 yen.
