Car
From Awa, head northwest on Route 55 towards Narita Expressway. Merge onto the Narita Expressway and continue for about 40 km (25 miles). Take the exit towards Shibuya and follow the signs for Meiji Jingu. Once you approach the area, look for parking options near the shrine. Note that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Awa Station. Take the JR Kanto Railway to Choshi Station. From Choshi, transfer to the JR Sobu Line towards Narita and then to the JR Chuo Line at Narita Station. Continue on the Chuo Line to Shinjuku Station. Once at Shinjuku, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and take it to Harajuku Station. From Harajuku Station, it is a 10-15 minute walk to Meiji Jingu. Be prepared for potential train costs, which typically range from 200 to 1000 yen depending on your route.
