Car
From Awaji, take the Awaji Island Route and head towards the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Kobe. Once in Kobe, take Route 2 (Shin-Kobe Avenue) and follow it until you reach the Chuo Ward area. Look for signs directing you to the Kobe Maritime Museum, located at 2-2 Hatobacho. There is limited parking available near the museum, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Awaji City Bus Station. Take the bus towards Sannomiya Station in Kobe. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Hankyu Railway. Board the Hankyu Kobe Line towards Kobe and get off at Kobe Station. From Kobe Station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Kobe Maritime Museum. Follow the signs towards the waterfront area, and you will find the museum at 2-2 Hatobacho, Chuo Ward. Please note that the bus fare is around 500 yen, and the Hankyu train fare is approximately 210 yen.
