    Discover more about Taiyō Park

Taiyō Park offers visitors a chance to experience the world's wonders without leaving Japan. Founded in 1992 by Kenzo Monguchi, the park was created with the vision of providing people with disabilities and the elderly an opportunity to see the world. The park is divided into two main areas: the Castle Area and the Stone Area. The Castle Area is dominated by Shiratori Castle, a two-thirds scale replica of Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle. Inside, visitors can explore trick art displays and various spaces that serve as backdrops for memorable photos. A monorail provides access to the castle at the top of the mountain. The Stone Area features reproductions of world-renowned stone structures, including the Great Wall of China, the Arc de Triomphe, Moai statues from Easter Island, and Egyptian pyramids. The Terracotta Army exhibit is particularly impressive, with 1,000 unglazed terracotta warriors created using the same historical production methods as the originals. Though some replicas show wear and tear, the park's overall atmosphere is one of quirky charm and unexpected discovery.
