Car

If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kamakura. Head south on Route 134 (Kamakura Kaido) and follow the signs for Nikaidō. When you reach Nikaidō, turn right onto Nikaidō Street. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, and Kakuon-ji will be on your left at 421 Nikaidō. Look for the temple's entrance, which is marked by a large gate.

To reach Kakuon-ji by public transportation, take the Enoden Line from Kamakura Station and get off at Hase Station. From Hase Station, exit and walk towards the bus stop.
