The most convenient way to reach Ghibli Park is by taking public transportation. From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Subway Line to Fujigaoka Station. Transfer to the Linimo (Tobu Kyuryo Line), a maglev train, and ride it to Aichikyūhaku-kinen-kōen Station, which is right at the park entrance. The subway ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥290, while the Linimo ride takes about 15 minutes and costs ¥370. The total journey time is approximately 45 minutes, with a total cost of ¥660.
Bus
Meitetsu Bus operates a direct bus service from Nagoya Bus Terminal (bus stop 24 on the 4th floor) to Ghibli Park. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and costs between ¥800 and ¥3100. Alternatively, shuttle buses are available from Chubu International Airport to Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park.
Taxi
A taxi or rideshare from Nagoya to Ghibli Park takes approximately 22 minutes and costs around ¥4936. Although this is the fastest option, it is also the most expensive.
Car
While driving to Ghibli Park is possible, parking is limited. It is recommended to use the Park & Ride system. Park at one of the designated parking lots in the vicinity and take the free shuttle bus to the park. Parking fees range from ¥2,500 to ¥3,000 per day.
