Getting there

Walking

From the Hachiko statue, the famous Shibuya Crossing is directly in front of the station's main exit. Allow yourself time to navigate the crossing, especially during peak hours, as it can be very crowded.

Public Transport

If arriving at Narita or Haneda Airport, take the Narita Express or Limousine Bus to Shibuya Station. From other parts of Tokyo, multiple JR lines, Tokyo Metro lines, and private railway lines connect to Shibuya Station. Use a Suica or Pasmo card for seamless travel. Single subway trips typically cost between ¥100-¥200.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available outside Shibuya Station. A short taxi ride from Shibuya Station to Shinjuku Station costs approximately ¥1724 and takes about 13 minutes. The base fare for taxis in Tokyo is around ¥710 for the first kilometer. Be aware that fares may increase by 20% from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Parking

Several parking facilities are located near Shibuya Station, including Shibuya Fukuras Parking Lot, Shibuya Stream Parking Lot, and Shibuya Hikarie Parking Lot. Parking fees generally cost ¥300-¥400 per 30 minutes. Maximum daily charges range from ¥2,200 to ¥3,200, with some discounts available for weekday use or with purchases at nearby shops.
