    If you are driving from Bungo, start by heading southwest on Route 10. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Takachiho. Once in Takachiho, follow the signs for Amano Iwato Shrine. The drive should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Amano Iwato Shrine, there is a parking lot available where you can leave your car. From the shrine, it is a 10-minute walk to Amanoyasukawara.

    To reach Amanoyasukawara via public transportation, first take a bus from Bungo to Takachiho. The bus departs from the main Bungo bus terminal, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Takachiho bus terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Amano Iwato Shrine. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes.
