Car
From the center of Bungo, head east on Route 10 towards Bungoono. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 15 km. When you reach the junction with Route 213, turn left onto Route 213. Follow Route 213 for about 5 km until you see signs for Harajiri Falls. Turn right onto the road leading to Harajiri Falls. The falls are located at 410 Ogatamachi Harajiri, Bungoono, Oita 879-6631. Parking is available near the falls.
Public Transportation
From Bungo's main train station, take a local train towards Bungoono Station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately ¥400. Once you arrive at Bungoono Station, take a local bus heading towards Harajiri Falls. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥600. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand as services may be limited. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the falls.
