Getting There

  • Car

    Start your journey in Bungo by heading towards Route 10. Follow Route 10 for about 30 km, then take the Kanagawa Prefectural Road 22 towards Yokohama. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km until you reach the Yamashitacho area in Naka Ward, Yokohama. Look for parking options nearby, as there are several paid parking lots available. Expect to pay around 300-500 yen per hour for parking.

  • Train

    From Bungo, make your way to the nearest train station, which is likely Bungo-Taketa Station. Take the JR Kyushu line to Oita Station, then transfer to the Sonic limited express train towards Hakata. Get off at Yokohama Station. From Yokohama Station, take the Minato Mirai Line towards Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The journey takes around 2 hours and costs approximately 3,500 yen. Once at Motomachi-Chukagai Station, exit and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Yokohama Chinatown.
