Getting There

Public Transport

From Yokohama Station, take the JR Negishi Line to Ishikawacho Station (¥170, 7 minutes) or the Minato Mirai Line to Motomachi-Chukagai Station (¥230, 8 minutes). Motomachi-Chukagai Station is the most convenient, being a short walk from the heart of Chinatown. Alternatively, take the Yokohama City Bus from Yokohama Station East Exit to Chukagai Iriguchi bus stop (¥220). A one-day bus pass is available for ¥600, offering unlimited rides on Yokohama City buses. The Yokohama Subway & Bus One Day Pass is 830 yen.
Walking

From Yamashita Park, Yokohama Chinatown is a short walk away. Exit the park towards the city and follow the signs. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. There are no tolls or special access fees for walking.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available from Yokohama Station or other points in the city. A taxi ride from Yokohama Station to Yokohama Chinatown typically costs between ¥2,200 and ¥2,700 and takes about 5 minutes. From Yokohama, a taxi will cost ¥1,200-¥1,600.
