  • Public Transport

    The Yokohama Landmark Tower is easily accessible via public transportation. From Yokohama Station, take the JR Negishi Line to Sakuragicho Station (approx. 3 minutes, ¥150) and walk 5 minutes. Alternatively, take the Minatomirai Line to Minatomirai Station (approx. 5 minutes, ¥200) and walk 2 minutes. Several discount passes, such as the Yokohama Minatomirai Pass and the Minato Burari Ticket, offer unlimited rides on the Minatomirai Line and sections of the JR Negishi Line.

  • Walking

    From the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, walk along the waterfront promenade towards Cosmo World. Continue past the Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu and Queen's Square Yokohama. The Landmark Tower will be visible ahead. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes. No costs are involved.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available from Yokohama Station or Sakuragicho Station. A short taxi ride to the Yokohama Landmark Tower from either station will typically cost between ¥700 and ¥1000, depending on traffic conditions. Be sure the taxi is using the meter. There are taxi stands at both stations.

Reached by one of Japan's fastest elevators, which whisks visitors to the top in under 40 seconds, the Sky Garden offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Yokohama, Tokyo, and even Mount Fuji on a clear day. Telescopes are available to enhance the viewing experience, and a café provides refreshments while you take in the scenery.At the base of the tower, Landmark Plaza offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options. The Dockyard Garden, a restored 19th-century stone dock, hosts events and performances, blending historical charm with modern entertainment. The tower's location in Minato Mirai makes it a convenient starting point for exploring other attractions in the area, such as the Yokohama Museum of Art, Cosmo World amusement park, and the Red Brick Warehouse.Note that the Sky Garden observation deck is scheduled to temporarily close after December 31, 2025, for large-scale renovations and is expected to reopen sometime in or after 2028.
