If you are driving from Buzen, head southwest on Route 10 towards Yufu. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Yufuin. Follow the signs for Yufuincho Kawanishi. Once you arrive in Yufu, look for signs directing you to the Jakoshi Observatory. The observatory is located at Yufuincho Kawanishi, Yufu, Oita 879-5113. There is parking available near the observatory, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
