If you are driving from central Buzen, head southwest on Route 10. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Fukuoka. Once in Fukuoka, follow the signs for Hakata Ward. Turn onto Kamikawabatamachi, and the statue will be located at 12 Kamikawabatamachi, just a short walk from the nearest parking area.

To reach the Statue of Otojiro Kawakami by public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Buzen to Fukutsu Station. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. From Fukutsu Station, board the Nishitetsu Train heading toward Hakata Station. This train ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Hakata Station, take Exit 2 and walk towards Kamikawabatamachi, where the statue is located at 12 Kamikawabatamachi. The entire journey should take about 1 hour including walking time.
