If you're driving, take Route 10 from the center of Buzen. Head northeast for approximately 18 km. Follow the signs for Kunisaki and then take a left onto Kunimimachi Sendo. Continue on this road for about 4 km, and you will find Kyu-Sento-ji Temple Ruins on your left at 1346 Kunimimachi Sendo, Kunisaki, Oita 872-1404. Parking is available nearby.

From Buzen Station, take the Nippō Main Line train towards Kokura. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Kunisaki Station. From there, take the local bus towards Kunimimachi for about 20 minutes. Get off at the Kunimimachi Sendo bus stop. The Kyu-Sento-ji Temple Ruins are about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary.
