If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Buzen city. Take Route 10 heading south and then merge onto Route 57 towards Bungotakada. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Bungotakada, look for signs indicating Nagaiwaya. Turn right onto Nagaiwaya Street and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach Tennen Temple at 1152 Nagaiwaya, Bungotakada, Oita 879-0731. There is a parking area available near the temple.

If you prefer public transportation, start at Buzen Station. Board a local train on the Nippō Main Line towards Oita Station. Travel for about 30 minutes and get off at Bungotakada Station. From Bungotakada Station, you can take a taxi to Tennen Temple, which is approximately a 10-minute ride.
